BlinkBox Music is the lead sponsor for the AEG promoted series of three UK Live summer festivals in June 2014. In the crowded festival market BlinkBox Music needed to connect with the audience in a way that was innovative, engaging and matched their natural behaviour.
BlinkBox Music used StoryStream’s fan engagement platform to broadcast real-time in festival reaction across the large screens either side of the main stage. As the fans posted a mix of content across Twitter, Vine, Instagram and YouTube to their networks globally, the very best was curated in real-time published to the screens, boosting the connection between audience and sponsor.
Jessie J, Rizzle Kicks and The Saturdays were used to promote #GetOnStage in the StoryStream, creating an instantaneous response from the audience.
The BlinkBox Music UK Live StoryStream was interspersed between the acts over the course of each of the three festival days, discovering over 14,000 content items and generating a social reach of 8.9million.
